Dave Aftandilian Bludgeon Oath has all the writhing rage I’ve come to expect from Quebecois black metal, along with a thick-shadowed, fully fleshed-out sound that makes me feel the flailing melee of battle surrounding me. Heed the call to arms, raise up your sword dripping with the enemy’s gore, and follow the black road to eternity.

Jacob Ballance DAMN this is some stunning black metal. Raw, vicious and with so many memorable passages. I was not expecting to enjoy this so much but I have been coming back repeatedly because I can’t get enough. Favorite track: A Burning Wrath.
